Villas HM Paraíso del Mar

the room don't have any hangers for wet towels or clothes. The room has no energy efficiency. leaks every where. service is great but they are really strict with the squedule. after they close the restaurant at 10pm it'll imposible to get a cup with water.

I had an amazing stay at Villas HM Paraiso del Mar. The location is absolutely stunning, especially if you book a beachfront villa — it's less than a minute’s walk to the beach where there are plenty of sun loungers, bar service, and snacks available. The breakfast buffet was perfect, with lots of options for families, and the food quality was excellent. The made-to-order omelets were a nice touch. The rooms are spacious, with a balcony hammock that was the perfect place to relax out of the sun. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out super easy. Isla Holbox feels like a hidden paradise, and for the price, the overall experience was unbeatable. I’ll definitely be returning next year with my family.

We had a really nice stay here. The room and facilities were very good, and the location is great. The staff were so friendly and helpful - Gustavo at the front desk helped us book onward transport for the next leg of our trip and was especially helpful. Note that the beds only have a single sheet, so ask for extra blankets if needed. Would recommend.

Lovely gem of a resort. Stayed here February 2025. We were apprehensive about some of the comments about outdated rooms, living on top of one another, and some cleanliness, but these reviews couldn't have been more off the mark. The rooms were clean and had clearly been updated within the last 5 years. They had reliable AC as well. The service was prompt and professional. The layout of the villas was the perfect mix of mature flora and beach vibes. I did not feel like I was on top of others, there was plenty of room to spread out by the pool, on the beach loungers, or on the property loungers. The complimentary breakfast had a plethora of options and the coffee was amazing. We will definitely be returning. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking peace, serenity, reliable service, and great hospitality.

We stayed for two nights and had a great experience. The room was beautiful and felt almost brand new. The hotel has a private pool which is very pleasant, and the direct access to the beach is definitely a big plus. We only had breakfast during our stay, twice, and it was always good with plenty of options. There were more savory choices than sweet ones, but overall it was a breakfast that suits everyone. The staff was also very kind and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

This hotel is much better than the 4.1 rating!!! Big, beautifull renovated room, very close to beach, excellent breakfast. We paid only 100 euro per night for family room. Best value for money in last 5 years :). Also located on the best part of the Holbox beach and close to the village. Don't hesitate and book this place :)!

Clean and beautiful little hotel in a perfect spot. Breakfast was great, service was amazing, location is the best if you want some solitude and peace, away from towns rumble. My sister recommended this place after staying here multiple times. We will come back here again for sure. My only complaint is some intermittent construction noises during the day. They are remodeling some units and taking a day nap in the room was not possible.

I don't get the bad reviews. The hotel looks like it's been significantly improved. Everything went smoothly, check-in, the rooms, the pool, and the beach. Breakfast was excellent with high quality food and plenty of choice. I'd highly recommend this place.
